About Kelly

Kelly Jianas counsels teenagers, adults and families in their healing journey by deepening the understanding of their life’s meaning. Kelly’s open, compassionate and warm personality allows clients to authentically open up and feel comfortable sharing their inner most thoughts and fears, while working towards their healing and wholeness, in a safe space.
Empowering clients to access their inner strength, Kelly uses EMDR, solution-focused, person-centered, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions. These evidence-based approaches have proven to help address a variety of mental health concerns, including Bipolar Disorder, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and more. Kelly loves to help clients in their spiritual direction and meets clients where they are at, non-judgmentally. Kelly also works with clients who struggle with grief and loss and can relate to those who have lost people close to them

Kelly graduated with her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology; Marriage & Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in California and has been in the field of counseling since 2010. She moved to Idaho Falls in 2017. A Christian who attends a local nondenominational church, Kelly loves Jesus and sings on the church worship team. She also loves spending time with her husband, son, golden retriever and two cats. Kelly enjoys being outside in God’s beautiful creation while hiking with friends. She also loves photography and dancing, and is working on writing a book.
